Studying Dancing Aspen

I am working on an oil bigger painting - it is 30" x 40". I started it in February. Beats me when I'll get it finished, maybe in 2024. I guess I am still not real fast with bigger paintings. Anyway, my daughter and I visited the site of Dancing Aspen in early October to study the surroundings. I decided to do a quick watercolor of a photo I took while we were there.

This is it - a 10" x 7" painting.

I finished the 30"x40" oil painting in April of 2025. This is it.
