Silver Thread Facilities

We took an early spring tour of National Forest campgrounds in south central Colorado. Snow was non-existent except at the very high altitudes. We stopped at Silver Thread Campground, just south of Spring Creek Pass. The one structure in the campground had a nice backdrop of leafless aspens and spruce trees. So, I did a plein air painting. The painting was 8" X 10", but the corner of the paper was damaged, so I cropped it to 8" X 6".
